Day 1 arrival Ulaan Bataar
Transfer to hotel and relax. City tour with National History Museum and Gandan monastery
Day 2 New Year Eve called BITUUN
You will depart Ulaan Bataar today and travel to the “Mongolian Secret History” complex.Her you can take part in the following activities:
- Environment trip: to visit to ger palace, meet the culture of Mongolian traditional script, to take interesting explanation about the Shamanism and visit to statue of Tev Tenger shaman (who was Chinggis khaan’s private advisor shaman)
- To skiing and sledge
- Learning traditional game “Shagai” (ankle bone) participating in competition on it
- Mongolian traditional folklore show
- Mongolian traditional costume show
- Visit to nomad family for make a traditional foods buuz and dumpling and meet the tradition of New Year Eve.
Overnight in tourist ger camp.
Day 3 The Big Day -Tsagaan Sar
Today itt's officially New Year!!Enjoy the following activities;
- Making first path of the New Year before sun rises according to individual’s born day and year as Mongolian customary
- Visit to nomad family, traditional greeting of New year Seeing offspring of livestock.
- Horse riding and archery
- Taking photos with costume of ancient hero, queen and shaman.
- To learn Mongolian traditional dances as “Zadgai tsagaan” and “Khumuun Turulkhtun”
- Learning puzzle game participating in competition on it.
- Documentary film about Mongolian life and culture. Overnight in tourist ger camp.
Day 4 Visiting Hustai NP
You will drive to Hustai National Park to watch wild horses takhi, widely known as “Przewalski horse ”.Przewalski horses are the only wild horse to survive in modern times. The species were returned to Mongolia from zooparks of many Europian Countries and reserves within Hustai National Park in 100 km west of Ulaanbaatar.Overnight in tourist ger camp
Day 5 Explore Terelj NP
Transfer to Terelj National Park. Lying in the valley of the Terelj River 80 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar, Terelj national park has long been a holiday resort for people from the capital and short – stay tourists. It is one of the most visited areas in Mongolia due to its magnificent scenery and its proximity to Ulaanbaatar. There are great opportunities for hiking rock climbing, riding and visit to Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex.Stay with Nomad family.
Day 6 City Tour
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Relaxing hours at the hotel. Shopping in State department store and and Cashmere house for souvenirs and products. In the evening we will attend amazing performance of Mongolian traditional music and dance.Overnight in hotel.
Day 7 depart
